K-State Choir’s scholarship concert event “Rhapsody" is back again on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 6pm with a performance of Carl Orff's stunning masterpiece "Carmina Burana!” And because of an overwhelming audience response last year, we've reserved the 1,800 seat Muriel Kauffman Theatre, home of the Kansas City Lyric Opera - the first university ever to do so!
Nearly 2,000 individuals have attended Rhapsody over the last two years in Helzberg Hall, raising more than $100,000! The proceeds from ticket sales and donations not only help us create this special event, but they also benefit students directly through choral scholarships. Hundreds of students have participated over the last two years, and because of Rhapsody, the K-State Choirs have been able to pledge nearly $90,000 in student scholarships.
We look forward to sharing this amazing concert event with you! Mark your calendars now.
