able to build in the music department is spectacular, and the level of music
that is produced is even better. Being

Nick Franssen - I am a senior in Music Education with a vocal emphasis. I am from Andover Kansas. I received a full
ride to Butler Community College to sing and dance in the Butler Headliners
Show Choir. In my time there I became
very involved with barbershop music. Since
then, I have ranked in the top 3 collegiate quartets in the Central States
District competition with the Smorgaschords Quartet and Powerline Quartet. After my time at Butler CC, I transferred to
K-State. I will have been a member of
Concert Choir for 3 years as of this year. I teach about 20 private piano, voice, and guitar lessons every
week. I volunteer with an after school
elementary choir program. I am also
currently directing the Fort Riley Spouses Choir. I love music, and I love being able to spread
the joy of music by teaching music!
